My Third Year Running The Turkey Trot!

This is my third year running in this special race! Well, actually I am a great passenger but soon enough I will be running next to my mommy. For right now though we are just collecting t shirts so when I get old I can have a blanket made out of all of them. Baby Sawyer was excited to participate in true form this year. Last year he was in mommy's belly.
This is us in action. Every year the stroller gets a little heavier. Mom has a year to get stronger thankfully!
Dad is always our best cheerleader! He even ran the last little stretch with us!
All in all it was a good race! Now where's the pie?

Rec Center

My girl Trinity invited me to the worlds coolest play area EVER!! This is me building a super tall tower. I have become very good at this lately and practice at home daily with my wooden ABC blocks! This is my other creation. The Canyon Tunnel Tower. Playing in the bouncy castle is the BEST. Especially with Trinity...she is a very brave girl and not afraid to get rough with the boys!
I also enjoy the cool tunnels I can crawl through over and over and over again until I get tired!
And this just might be the best invention ever. I need to find one of these for home. Mom thinks it's a good idea too...something about getting rid of my endless energy?

Early Thanksgiving Day

Last Sunday we had our big Thanksgiving Day Dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Dosmann, Grandma Cannell, and had some special guest with us too...Great Aunt Marilyn and Great Uncle Roger. After stuffing ourselves with goodies we went to the park and played off some pie. Sawyer was pretty excited to ride in the wagon.
Great Aunt Marilyn was so much fun and blessed us with some pretty cool gifts. As soon as I got home I had to get in the bath and try out my new Thomas the Train Squirters! Thanks so much Great Aunt Marilyn!

My Little Lizard

We are still trying to figure out this whole eating thing. Canyon was so easy to feed and just figured it out...Sawyer on the other hand...I very much dread feeding him! Any suggestions welcome on how to convince him that he is not breastfeeding when eating:)

Brotherly Love

Being a big brother can be a tough job at times but I am liking it more and more each day!
The great thing about baby Sawyer is that he never cares when I push him over or play my recorder right in his face. He loves me and smiles at me always!
He seems distracted at times when I try to teach him things but I know he is at least listening to me. I was trying to teach him here what to do when mom says, "Let's get ready, Canyon." He seemed way more interested in eating the diaper bag...baby's are so silly sometimes!
Baby Sawyer likes to suck on his fingers when he is upset...it seems to make him feel better. When I am upset I like to go to my room and take a break from all the stress of being a toddler.
Since you saw me last we got another snow storm and I had the chance to build another snowman with my dad. It melted before I was able to take a picture of it but it was way too cool:) See you again soon!

Did you say Christmas Tree?

I overheard mommy telling daddy that she would really like to put up the Christmas Tree and all I had to do is say ME TOO DADDY and the rest is history! We quickly broke out the hats and were off! We didn't just stop with the hats...oh no...we even broke out the pajamas!
Every boy needs his own tree so I found the perfect little tree to put in my room. This is my Mickey Mouse tree with its very own train underneath of it!
This is mommy's tree that I helped her decorate.
After decorating the house with trees we decided to take our pumpkins and make them into pumpkin cookies and pumpkin chocolate chip walnut muffins! Sawyer was in charge of stirring the batter.
Which made him very happy!
I had the most important job...tasting all the ingredients to make sure they were good enough to be put in my cookies.
My favorite part is the dough. I tried to sneak a taste when mom wasn't looking but it looks like she caught me in the act.

Sawyer Is 7 Months Old Today!

My baby brother Sawyer is 7 months old today! We had a great day celebrating his birthday! Mom took us out for a run so we could take in the fresh cool air and I spotted this great little playground! This is the first time I have ever enjoyed swinging in my 2 years of life.
This is how excited we were when mom said we could interupt her run for some play time!
This tunnel was very scary for me but I had to be brave for my brother so he could try it out.
He didn't seem to mind it at all. I can already tell my baby brother is going to be braver than me.
This is him on the swing having just as much fun as me!
I wanted to be up front on the swing just like my brother.
We had so much fun laughing at eachother!
Sawyer had some time on his blankie while I explored the other equipment.
This crazy merry go round made me dizzy!
After a long day of playing, I decided it would be fun to make pizzas for Sawyers birthday. This is my Ta Da Pose after finishing my work of art. I made vegetable pizza and made sure mom had all of my colors on it. Red=pizza sauce, red peppers and tomatoes, Green=brocoli, White=cheese and mushrooms, Yellow=onion, Orange=carrots
My brother is getting so big. He is about 24 pounds already and pretty much wearing the same size clothes as me. We also share the same size diaper which is a 5. Big for me but just right for Sawyer. He is a very active boy and is really wanting to run and play with me so he gets frustrated lots. Mom says he is her little monkey and she is already getting the house ready for when he starts to take off crawling. He is saying da da da da da and will repeat and copy whatever it is you do to him...pretty amazing! I love him so much and am so proud to be his big brother.
