I TOOK IT UPON MYSELF TO WRITE DOWN THE ONE THING I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR! I THINK I JUST MIGHT KNOW WHAT IT IS! I GOT IT!! OH BOY...I'M BRILLIANT! HAIR!! THAT'S IT! I WANT HAIR FOR CHRISTMAS! DEAR GOD, I KNOW YOUR BUSY UP THERE BUT IF YOU COULD JUST TAKE A MOMENT AND MAKE ME SOME HAIR FOR CHRISTMAS THAT WOULD BE SWEET! YOURS TRULY, CANYON

WHAT I AM THANKFUL FOR

I woke up this morning to find a big bird in my kitchen. I tried to save him but I think I was too late. "Please wake up Mr. Turkey!" In honor of Mr. Turkey, I decided to participate in the Fort Collins Turkey Day Run with my mom. Don't be fooled, I am actually inside working hard to make this stroller move! I finished my very first race! When we got home mom and me had to show off our t-shirts. They even put pictures of Mr. Turkey on them. Turns out he's a popular guy on Thanksgiving Day! I told grandpa Vern how I tried to save Mr. Turkey and how the whole town decided to run in honor of him. Even Halee couldn't believe it! Mom told me that people not only honor Mr. Turkey on this special day but take time to give thanks for the many blessing in our lives! Before I say goodnight I must first tell you about some of the things I am thankful for. I am thankful for my turkey hat, Halee and Chaco, my unlimited milk supply, grandmas and grandpas, friends and family, warm baths, Mr. Turkey and My Great Pumpkin, my jumparoo, clothes that fit my long limbs, huge feet, and off the chart head, my kissable cheeks, pampers, and for my mom and dad who love me more than I could have ever imagined!

SNOW?

THERE'S WHAT ON THE GROUND???? Yup, it's snow all right! In the moment of excitement I jumped for joy! Thank goodness mom was there to catch me!! I can't wait to go play...better go get out of my jammies!

TOYS RULE!

As I get closer to my 5 month birthday I am figuring out just how fascinating my toys are! I figured out that the animals on my jumparoo like to play and if I jump hard enough I can just about catch some air! My friend Sam gave me a great friend that loves to listen to me read to him. This book I have makes lots of noises and even tastes great!

Every now and then I get to play in my swing. I can't say it's my favorite simply because it puts me right to sleep!

Every day mom takes me for a walk to the park and puts me in this swing. I haven't figured out yet why this swing is suppose to be fun but mom sure thinks it is. Since I don't really enjoy napping much during the day, I look forward to bedtime where I can catch up on some much needed rest before I start my day all over again.

MY GREAT PUMPKIN

I am beginning to learn all about these wonderful celebrations people call holidays. For this holiday I got to pick out my very own pumpkin. Pumpkins are great because they don't mind if you crawl on them, push them or even cut them open so you can play inside of them! I climbed in my pumpkin and decided to have a snack I found right on the ground! Turns out leaves are just for raking, not eating. I was having so much fun with my pumpkin until my friends Halee and Chaco showed up. My friend Halee tried to eat my pumpkin. And Chaco tried to steal my other pumpkin right in front of me! I had to put them in time out before things got out of hand.
