PUMPKIN PATCH

My day was going just super until I found out this very big pumpkin wasn't going to be mine! I continued to pout but found it not worth my time. So like any child would do, I began to scream in hopes that would get some attention...still didn't work. I kicked and refused to sit still but as you can see my mom thought nothing of it! So in the end I left with no pumpkin but did manage to ruin the family photo!

FUNNY ROCKS AND BIG FALLS

People say this rock looks a lot like a monkey's face. After studying it closely I would have to say it looks much like a gorilla. Mom's friend came all the way from Colorado to see me so I took her on an adventure that was new to both of us...hiking around Smith Rock! I also took her to see Benham Falls. My job as tourist guide is really working out for me. Mom and dad always feel they need the "family" photo.

TO THE OREGON COAST I GO

Before leaving Oregon I had to take a big journey to the coast. "Ant" Peggy let me stay in her beautiful beach home just so I could explore the big ocean and get my mind right for the big move to Colorado. This front pack allowed me to take in all the sights without much effort on my part. In search of tidal pools I discovered none! I did however summit this big boulder. As the first person to ever summit this boulder I gave it the name Mt Canyon. My dad was so proud of me! Mom took me to this scary forest where this very tree you see here just about had me for lunch! Sometimes you have to take a moment and become one with nature... To you Ant Peggy for blessing my whole family. I love you!

THE PLACES I GET TO GO...

This is me at Multnomah Falls. My dad and I watched the GINORMOUS salmon heading up stream to spawn. The fish ladder at the Bonneville Dam is truly an engineering marvel! This is Hood River the wind surfing capital of the world. I tried to go wind surfing but the rules were you had to be as tall as this fence behind me. Looks like I'll be coming back. This is Tumalo Falls. Is that camera on again? For being fairly new to this world...I am just beginning to realize just how big it is. My journey has truly just begun!

WEEKEND WARRIOR

Mom took me to work with her this weekend and showed me how to become a young outstanding fireman! First, I had to test out all the gear. A couple more months of drinking milk and I'll fit right into these boots! I was pleased to know my head was almost big enough to fit into this helmet. To become a real fireman you must conquer the pole...this was not an easy task! Testing the hose was my last task. It definitely failed the cushy tushy test but passed all others!

WEEK 10

I was introduced to this chair sitting thing this week and I have to say I'm pretty good at it. I also found myself in the mirror this week...watch out ladies cuz I'm one handsome dude! Dad says onsies are for girls so when mom's not lookin he lets me dress just like him. Every night I go swimming in the big tub and it's by far my favorite part of the day. It gets me all relaxed before my last meal and puts me right to sleep!

GIANT VEGETABLE!

Mom says this zucchini will feed me for a long time. Surely she is unaware of my dislike for GIANT vegetables! For those of you unfamiliar with growing such GIANT vegetables, you can just ask "Ant" Peggy Speedster...she just might give you the secret ingredient.

HOW I SPENT MY 8 AND 9 WEEK BIRTHDAY

I am officially 9 weeks old in this picture. For the last week I have been busy. I spent a total of 4 days chillin in my car seat as mom and dad drove me all the way to Colorado. I can't say I enjoyed it but was on my best behavior. Every few hours we took a nice break and had some milk and coffee. I met many new people on this trip...Tom and Kristin and family, the Spradley Barr Clan, Roger & Jill, Dale, State Farm peeps, Joy, and ofcourse Grandpa Vern and Grandma Lori again! This is my Grandpa Vern. Daddy tells me I inherited his big hands and feet and by the looks of it he is right!
