OUR LITTLE RIPPERS!

Our first day taking the boys snowboarding and it was truly a perfect day! Mom and dad were Sherpas getting the boys back up the mountain over and over and over and over:)
The boys really took right to it. Greg and I had visions of tears and whining but the only thing they whined about was having to leave.
Proud daddy!
We decided last minute to rent Sawyer a board for the day and we were so glad we did. He was amazing...a natural for sure!
Canyon had so much fun discovering his limits on his board.
The weather was also perfect. Blue sky and white snow!
One tough little man!
Picnic lunch!
He did not want any help!
Thankful that our first experience was a memorable one! It's easy to forget Sawyer is only 2.5 years old. He's growing up way too fast!

High Desert Museum

Daddy took the boys to the High Desert Museum on his first day off and were so excited about it that we had to go again the next day and show mommy all of the cool stuff they saw! Yesterday they were able to watch a rattlesnake eat a mouse and today they were able to witness a lynx eating a quail.
Canyon was really interested in the jaws of a mountain lion.
And Sawyer the lynx.
The museum has a reptile exhibit going on right now for the next 3 months and it was amazing! This little frog was beautiful.
And this little guy...spectacular! I somehow managed to get these pictures through a glass window!
More frogs.
Carpet Python
Baby turtle
The boys were able to check out the bigger versions of the baby turtles with daddy's help!
And then they were allowed in to pet them...so fun for them!
They were beautiful as well.
The lynx is always at the museum and a first stop every time!
Afterwards we went outside to see the birds of prey and listen to a little talk on river otters.
Sawyer discovered how to jump over the little creek!
Such a fun place!

Tree Fort

Wanna know what I did today? I took some friends on a little adventure to our secret tree fort.
This secret tree fort is right up the hill from our home and we discovered it one day on a little hike. We were really excited to share this special place with our friends!
Canyon found his own little spot in the fort.
And I found mine;)
Mom did her best to capture this place but it's really hard to get a good picture of it.
After our picnic lunch we summited Overturf Butte!
Thank you Brown family for joining us today.
Good night! See you on our next adventure!!

SLEDDING TO TUMALO FALLS

We had an amazing day pulling the boys to Tumalo Falls. They are such troopers and did not complain ONCE! The excitement was contagious and it made for a perfect day! Our first time testing out our new sled!
We have done this hike so many times and it NEVER gets old.
Canyon figured out quickly that his sled turns and had a blast maneuvering all over the snow behind daddy.
We made it to the falls after about a 2.5 mile pull and as always, it's beautiful.
Had the place all to ourselves and enjoyed a picnic lunch right by the falls.
Throwing snow at mommy turns out to be really fun!
Canyon was trying out all sorts of tricks on his sled.
Gathering snow to throw at mom!
Silly = Sawyer
Sweet = Canyon
Sawyer took a turn on the sled on the way back to the car. The day really was PERFECT! So in love with my family!
