Crazy Adventure to Clear Lake

Who's excited to go on an adventure? I AM!! ME TOOOO!
Ummmm, ok maybe not so excited.
We left Bend with 53 degrees on our car temp and drove through a blizzard to get to Clear Lake and arrive at a cold rainy 36 degrees. We were thankfully kind of prepared minus some gloves but we did not let that slow us down!
We made the best out of this day and had a great hike!
Canyon is such a great brother and always makes sure to take care of his little brother!
A couple of handsome boys:)
Mom, look at this!
There were down logs everywhere on this hike for Canyon to balance on!
And jump off!
In love with all 3 of these men!!!
Such a beautiful trail
We pretended we were in the rain forest, which really didn't require too much imagination.
And found places to hide from the bad guys trying to invade the rain forest!
We ran from them as fast as the wind when they tried to catch us!!
We even made sure the bad guys were not hiding high up in the trees!
We grabbed some super sticky spider man webbing to catch them with!
And were very relieved when we captured them with our net!
Proud parents of some little superheros!
All of this action tired them out and it only took minutes before they fell into a deep sleep!
Two miles for these boys was enough!
So proud of our little men and thankful for their energy and up for anything spirit!

Running to the Park

Mom surprised us on her run today when she ended up at our favorite place. The boat Park! In case you are wondering, it is still cold here in Central Oregon. Not sure when summer is coming, but I am hoping very soon.
Sawyer's new favorite thing to do at the park...thanks Greta! :)
Riding T Rex is pretty fun too.
I was hoping to warm myself up by placing most of my body on the slide but it didn't work out as planned.
Sawyer stayed warm by putting on moms shades and dancing around.
It didn't take too long to forget about the cold and have some fun!
Cheese!
After our park fun, we walked to the coffee shop and had some hot chocolate and enjoyed the ride back home!

Grandma Dircks Visit

The boys were so excited to see Grandma! We got to spend 8 days with Grandma and took her with us to all our activities! Canyon and Sawyer started gymnastics recently so they enjoyed showing off for Grandma.
Canyon is also enjoying Tai Kwan Do and is the youngest in his class. We are proud parents already since he is often praised in front of the class for his great listening skills and maturity. He also earned his blue stripe on his first day!
Our little Dragon!
Sawyer entertaining Grandma with his harmonica!
This is why they love Grandma!! Turtle cookies with whip cream!
I don't even want to know how many they ate:)
Racing cars with Grandma.
Fun in the tub.
Endless stories.
Showing grandma how to play catch!
Showing grandma how high we can jump!
It would not be a visit without taking grandma to our favorite fishing pond!
Grandma is SO funny!!
And loves us SO much! Thankful for our time with you!
