WHY DADS DON'T HAVE MILK?

I finally realized that dad just isn't going to feed me no matter how hard I cry. I took a chance today to see if his finger supplied any milk but found it to be rather bland. I'll have to ask my friends if they know why dads don't have milk. Does anyone else think it's a bit annoying when your dad kisses the same spot on your head over and over again?

ONE MONTH CELEBRATION

Today I am one month old and to celebrate my special day mom and dad took me to Todd Lake. Here I am hanging out with my dad and listening to the dogs bark. I was a little jealous as they were getting all the attention. Doesn't anyone realize it's MY Birthday? I soon got over it and decided to just relax and have some Canyon time. Going to the lake is not only about relaxing but looking good. It's important that you find yourself a great hat and a groovy pair of shades to impress the ladies. We couldn't leave without the "family photo."

MY VERY OWN PLAYGROUND

I am so excited to hang out with my new friends Britta the butterfly and Taco the turtle. They can't quite talk yet but can hang when it comes to making noise. I was surprised to see my very own reflection in the big flower hanging above me. Am I really that cute?

THANKS TO THE SIMS CLAN

Without delay I jumped right in to opening all my gifts. Mom told me about my great grandma Sims and all her beautiful kids. I sure am blessed to have so many people that love me. If they were here now I'd let them kiss my big soft cheeks! I hope to get to meet them all very soon! After opening all my goodies mom told me I had to go to bed and wait until morning to play with all my stuff. I was rather upset and made sure mom and dad heard about it! This is me the next morning. I couldn't wait to sit in my chair and get right to play time. I grabbed my book and embarked on an alphabet adventure!

WHAT BIG BOYS DO

Dad told me the only way he would take me mountain biking is if I learned to sit on my own. Don't be fooled by the chair...with strong abs and determination anyone can do it! Mom is teaching me how to cook already. She says it's an important skill to learn as a young man. I thought it was rather boring but did offer to hand her utensils as she needed them. Taking a bath is another thing big boys do. Before you try this on your own you must make sure you have support. I recommend a good rubber ducky to keep you company and a nice soft rag to get in between all the crevices big boys have!

MY 3 WEEK PHOTO

It is hard to believe but true...I have been in this world now for 3 weeks. I went to the grocery store for the first time and mom had to make an emergency trip to the pacifier isle. All I was trying to do was communicate my need for food too!

LIKE FATHER LIKE SON

One of my favorite things to do is just hang out with my dad! He is already teaching me all about the world. I am working on memorizing the capitals of countries, but I think that part of my brain doesn't work yet. I can't seem to remember them. I guess it's going to take some practice!

SAMS BIRTHDAY PARTY!

This is my friend Sam with his mommy and daddy. I was pretty excited to be invited to his birthday party especially considering I am fairly new to this world.
This is Judah. He doesn't seem to talk much but is a great listener. I told him all about Dr. Seuss and recited some lines from the book Sam I Am. I don't think he was too impressed.

DO YOU LIKE GREEN EGGS AND HAM?

My friend Sam is having a Dr. Seuss birthday party tomorrow so my daddy took some time to tell me a little about one of his stories...Green Eggs and Ham.

"Do you like green eggs and ham? I do not like them, Sam-I-am. I do not like green eggs and ham." " Would you eat them in a box? Would you eat them with a fox?"

"Not in a box. Not with a fox. Not in a house. Not with a mouse. I would not eat them here or there. I would not eat them anywhere. I would not eat green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam-I-am."

After hearing all about Green Eggs and Ham, I was starting to feel ill. It's a good thing daddy always knows how to make me feel better!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!

The best part of being a newborn is you have lots of birthdays! Today is my 2 week birthday and to celebrate it I not only get to go visit my Doctor, but get to spend the whole day with mom and dad! Here I am day dreaming about how adventurous my day is going to be!

Mom and Dad took me to the park this evening so I could take part in Munch & Music. It was quite the experience! I couldn't believe all the people that showed up for this event. Turns out they like celebrating my birthday too!

The music was rather calming so I thought I'd just kick back and take it all in.

It was a wonderful day and I not only wore myself out but my dad as well!

MASTERING THE ART OF SLEEPING

Sleeping can be difficult at times but I think I've got it figured out. I've been sleeping at night lately since I heard mom requires a few hours of it too in order to keep up with my huge feeding demands. My days are rather confusing since I just can't decide whether or not I'd like to just eat constantly or nap a little in between. I guess it just takes time to get this all under control.

Sometimes I just like to pretend I am sleeping and strike a pose. I had to hold this one quite a while before mom realized just how cute I was. Thank goodness she found the camera as my chin was starting to get heavy!

Here I am just dreaming about my next meal.

Deep thinking is an important part of developing good sleeping habits. Here I am contemplating the order of my next 3 routines. Do I eat next, poop or do I just keep sleeping. Life can be full of difficult choices sometimes.

MY VERY OWN TANNING BED

With summer already here, I figured I should prepare my new skin for the outdoors. Getting a good base tan is essential prior to exposing yourself to the elements of Central Oregon. Take note...Whistling a good tune makes the experience even more enjoyable!
