My friends Kennedy and Olivia invited us to their pool.

We were much happier in the shade and not so interested in the pool. My best friend Jordyn came to hang out with us one night. She likes books just like me.

I took her outside and showed her a cool trick!

We had so much fun playing in the pool and can't wait for Jordyn to come over again soon.

She read a story to Halee and me and put Halee right to sleep. I was even a gentlemen and let her borrow my Elmo jammies. Jordyn is Elmo's biggest fan!

Daddy, since the moment I entered this world you were there for me. Holding my hand, protecting me, and loving me more than I could have imagined. You are my hero and I love the time you spend with me every morning before you go to work. I love how you stop what ever you are doing and put together puzzles with me, take me for walks, and for your patience when I just want to pick up sticks and rocks. You have a great imagination and teach me how to be creative when I play outside. You teach me how to be a nice boy and how to share my toys with my friends. I love you daddy and are so glad you are mine!

Love, Canyon Daddy, thank you for being the funniest daddy in the whole world. God knew what he was doing when he made me just like you! Thank you for getting me out of bed at 5:50am every morning and taking the time to read me books. You are the best cereal maker in the land and know just what I like. I love our morning time together and know how much you love not having to set your alarm clock because of me:) I look up to you daddy and know that I will be an amazing man like you someday. To an incredible man I have been blessed to call my dad. Thank you dad for being a man of character, wisdom, and love. You have been a great teacher and have loved me even when I wasn't lovable. I remember from a young age watching you love others that were different and caring for those less fortunate. You have the softest heart and most loving heart and it overflows onto those around you. I am reminded daily how much you love me when I think about just how much I love my boys. I love you dad and I am proud to be your daughter.

JUNE FUN AT OUR NEW HOME

Who needs a park when you have one in your back yard:) We are finally settled into our new home and are having fun playing in our new yard.

We do have a neat park near our house that mom takes us to when she wants to go for a run. It's a win win I guess.

Sawyer never gets tired of the swing. I got this play thing when I was one but am now just starting to think it's pretty cool.

If you look close you can see all the cotton on the ground. It has been snowing cotton for days and we are looking forward to the end of that! Love the beautiful trees but the cotton has got to go!

I love to play soccer and hope to play for real some day!

Sawyer is still learning to keep his hat on. I was much easier to train but mom is persistant and will not stop until she wins the battle.

Sawyer loves to throw the ball and is pretty good at it!

Thankful for the beautiful weather we are having and look forward to more of it!

Grandma Dircks Visit

Grandma Sharon flew on a big airplane all the way from MN to visit Sawyer and me. We had so much fun playing with Grandma.

Lots of blueberries were consumed when grandma was here to stop the hunger cries.

I prefer strawberries but unlike my brother I only eat a few.

My favorite thing to do for Grandma is to show off.

This is all baby Sawyer has to do to get what he wants.

Grandma made us the most delicious brownies to celebrate our birthdays.

As you can see, I get a bite and Sawyer gets two huge pieces. I am pretty sure grandma is pickin favorites.

We miss you already Grandma!
