Dancing the Christian Crazy Dance
It all started when my Grandma Sharon gave me the most eggstraordinary egg!
It tasted eggcellent!
It was so good, I had to let my daddy try one too.
After tasting the eggs I decided I needed to put them back in the holder.
It's eggstremely important to make sure the holder is empty
before putting the eggs in it.
If you notice, none of my eggs are decorated. This is because I decided it would be way more fun to smash them on the table.
I carefully placed my eggs in the holder
That sums up my Easter egg decorating eggstravaganza!
FAMILY
On the right is my mommy, grandpa Vern (mommy's dad), and Grandma Lori, (mommy's stepmom). On the left is Grandma Lori's sister Lenae and her daughters Katie and Terese...and ME!
This is my daddy...who I get my good looks from:)
This is my grandma Judy (daddy's mom)
This is my grandma Sharon (mommy's mom)
And this is me in my new car grandma Sharon drove here all the way from Minnesota!
I invited all my friends over from my stroller class to have an Easter egg hunt.
I sat and cheered them on as they raced to find the golden egg!
I think the other boy had his feelings hurt because all the girls were talking to me. When you are the host of such a big event what do you expect?
I am looking forward to next year when I can participate in the fun.
It just dawned on me that my socks are absolutely ridiculous...thanks mom!

When exploring, it is important to know what it is you are looking for. To the left of me you will notice something that looks a lot like dinosaur tracks. If you are wondering how they got there, you came to the right place! Long ago these HUGE animals roamed the earth looking for plants and other animals to eat. While doing this you see, they had to trample the very sandstone you see in front of you. With each step they sunk into the ground...it must have been muddy that day...with the warm Utah sun, these very tracks were preserved for many years!
In this picture you will see petroglyphs. What's a petroglyph you ask? Petroglyphs are images created by removing part of a rock surfaces by incising, pecking, carving, and abrading. A long time ago Indians used this form of art for communication.
Who is this you ask? Mr. Canyon your famous explorer!
Transportation is critical when searching for things. Parents work just great!
Above me you will see Pictographs. What's a pictograph you ask? It is a symbol representing a concept, object, activity, place or event by illustration. Indians would draw instead of carve to communicate with other Indians. I wonder what they were trying to say?
Here are more pictographs. It's amazing to see all the different eras of these fascinating writings.
Turns out I am famous in this part of the country! They named many archaeological sites after me!
If you look really close you will see another dinosaur track. You can see just how big the claws were on this guy!
The most important lesson from all of this is to protect the very land we have been so blessed to walk on. Please look below for more pictures of my Moab adventure!
