It is true everyone...I am 7 weeks old! This week I started to make noises unfamiliar to those who don't understand cooing. It's a unique language and I'm offering classes to anyone motivated to learn it!
My six week check up was today and let me tell you something...it was NOT OK. The nurse decided to pin me down and put three HUGE needles in my leg. This kind of behavior is just not acceptable! Now that I am officially six weeks old I am beginning to figure out this world a little bit better now. I find that smiling gets me lots of attention and crying can get me whatever else I want...this is TERRIFIC!
When I don't get what I want I just go ahead and stick my tongue out...that will teach them!
I finally realized that dad just isn't going to feed me no matter how hard I cry. I took a chance today to see if his finger supplied any milk but found it to be rather bland. I'll have to ask my friends if they know why dads don't have milk.
Does anyone else think it's a bit annoying when your dad kisses the same spot on your head over and over again?
I am so excited to hang out with my new friends Britta the butterfly and Taco the turtle. They can't quite talk yet but can hang when it comes to making noise. I was surprised to see my very own reflection in the big flower hanging above me. Am I really that cute?

Today I am one month old and to celebrate my special day mom and dad took me to Todd Lake. Here I am hanging out with my dad and listening to the dogs bark. I was a little jealous as they were getting all the attention. Doesn't anyone realize it's MY Birthday?
I soon got over it and decided to just relax and have some Canyon time.
Going to the lake is not only about relaxing but looking good. It's important that you find yourself a great hat and a groovy pair of shades to impress the ladies.

Without delay I jumped right in to opening all my gifts. Mom told me about my great grandma Sims and all her beautiful kids. I sure am blessed to have so many people that love me. If they were here now I'd let them kiss my big soft cheeks! I hope to get to meet them all very soon!
After opening all my goodies mom told me I had to go to bed and wait until morning to play with all my stuff. I was rather upset and made sure mom and dad heard about it!
This is me the next morning. I couldn't wait to sit in my chair and get right to play time.
I grabbed my book and embarked on an alphabet adventure!
