My Valentine for my DADDY!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY DADDY

I wanted to let my daddy know just how much I love him so I made him some very special cookies all by myself!
When making cookies, it's important that you follow very specific steps. For those of you that think you need some sort of roller, forget it, hands work just fine. Give the dough a good pat with the palm of your hand!
Press the cutter down until you make the most perfect heart!
Make sure you share the cookie dough with your family members. Eating too much cookie dough can give you a belly ache!
And here you go! The finished project. I made all of these hearts all on my own with no help from my mommy! She was very proud of me. Mom obviously made the I LOVE U but seriously, who can't do that?
After frosting the cookies, I made sure to put the best sprinkles on for my daddy! I love you daddy and had so much fun spending this special day with you!

SAWYER AT 10 MONTHS

My brother turned 10 months old yesterday and I can honestly say he is a handful in so many ways! He has sprouted some big teeth!
LOVES to eat!
Gets into EVERYTHING!
Did I mention LOVES to eat?
Is very playable!
Super funny!
Very goofy!
A true clown!
Extremely curious! And oh so sweet!
We are loving watching Sawyer grow into such a unique little boy. If you know my husband, he is a walking image of him and has fully taken on his personality. Makes us laugh all the time and keeps us on our toes. We keep thinking he will walk any day but are in NO hurry for that to happen.

TIME...WHERE DOES IT GO?

I am not sure what happened to January but it's now February and I need to give you an update on what's been going on in our lives. Sawyer is really this big and changing daily. We ventured out in the cold to take a nice run by the house. I am experiencing the terrible twos and refuse to do anything my mom asks of me...like look at the camera to take a picture.
I am thankful to live in such a beautiful place.
Right behind us is a flock of geese just hanging out. Looks like mom missed them.
Behind us is a herd of deer. We had to wait for them to cross the road before running by them. Mom was glad to have had the camera this day.
Eating is always fun at our house. Sawyer has become a pretty good eater. Didn't start out so good but mom was persistent and it paid off.
I have been a great eater from the get go and mom makes it fun for me to get all my food groups in!
We got to go watch mom run a little race. We hoped to go with but the course would not allow for a stroller. It would have been quite the ride!
My two best buddies Cole and Tate come and play with me almost every Friday!
I am very independent now and want to do everything myself and I love to help my brother with everything too. It was a busy but fun month and we hope to embark on more adventures in February . Stay tuned!

Sawyer at 9 months

My brother just turned 9 months old and this picture best describes what my brother looks like most of the day. He is a very ambitious, energetic young man and wears mommy out very fast.
Just in case you wanted to know how I am doing, I am doing great. I am getting bigger everyday and love to play with puzzles, my trains, and whatever my brother is trying to play with. He is learning that all toys are MINE but mom is trying very hard to teach ME that they are not MINE but OURS. I'll keep you posted on how that's workin out. Baby Sawyer is very mobile these days and can get to whatever he wants. He's learning very slowly what "no touch" means but mom is spending every minute of her day teaching him so hopefully soon he will learn.
He has 2 teeth and working on more. He loves to eat KIX cereal and has to eat lots of prunes so he can poop something that doesn't resemble a hard dry log. Miralax has been his only hope for soft poop but when it comes it comes so be prepared. Mom is trying hard to teach me how fun pooping in the potty is but I just don't see the fun in it at all. Needless to say, mom is tired of POOP!
Another common face of baby Sawyer. He is making tons of funny noises and already trying to talk. Mom is happy that ma ma ma ma is his first word instead of da da which was my first word for a long time:) He also will shake his head yes and no when you ask him a question.
I love my brother very much and tell him almost daily that I "lul lu" baby ya yer. I just wish he would not require so much of my moms attention. I often will pretend to baby talk and crawl and cry to see if I can get the same response but not working so well for me.
It's hard to believe he will be chasing after me soon. I am a little concerned he may be stronger than me so I am working out with my mom so I can hopefully defend myself soon. See you soon! Love, Canyon

Stroller Fit Friends

I had some of my stroller fit friends over and we had a ton of fun making snack necklaces! If you look very close you can see all of our masterpieces!
We were very busy trying to eat our snacks!
Max and Orion soon forgot about their necklaces when they discovered my train table:)
Cole and Tate are my best buddies. They brought me a special snack necklace one day and I had to share the fun activity with all my friends!
Orion did a great job decorating his necklace. Turns out he likes fruit loops:)
The boys!
Thanks to all my friends for coming to my house for this fun day! For all my friends who missed out, we will have to do it again!
