Canyonlands Needles District

Cowboy Camp was a great kid friendly hike.
Sawyer was amazed when he found out these pictographs dated back 2000 years!
We were excited to find more pictographs on this hike.
It was a good thing no one was afraid of heights. This was the second ladder we had to maneuver down...a bit scary when having to carry babies!
Beautiful scenery as always anytime you are in Canyon country!
Awesome fall colors still present in Moab area!
We took a detour on our way to Canyonlands to see Newspaper Rock. Canyon wanted Thomas and Molly to experience this momentous occasion.
Newspaper Rock is a famous petrolglyph where Anasazi would post the success of their hunts.

Negro Bill Canyon Hike

Our first trip up Negro Bill Canyon was terrific. We hiked back to Morning Glory Arch and had a little picnic before hiking back out.
Katie and Canyon showing us how big the arch is.
Canyon really wanted to give his baby brother a ride!

Moab Springs Ranch

We stayed at the Moab Springs Ranch the most beautiful place in Moab. It's literally an oasis in the desert!
Canyons new shades!
Our playground (oasis) in our back yard of our condo.
Greg and I took a walk through our little oasis on the ranch and had a wonderful dinner date at the Desert Bistro also on the ranch.

What to do on a Snowy Day

What do you do on a snow day? My brother and I didn't let the snow get us down...oh no...we made the best of it by just being together. (This is me prior to getting my haircut)
Sawyer was a great brother and read me his favorite book.
We played in the crib! This is me after mom tried to cut my hair...she had to break out the buzzer! Needless to say she will never attempt to do that again!
We took naps with our favorite stuffed animals.
I like to sleep with my eyes partly open just in case I miss out on something. I don't like to sleep without my best friends Chaco and Nemo.
You're never too old to have fun in the jumparoo...especially when your brother weighs almost as much as you do. This is one of our favorite things to do. Mom says she enjoys it too...can't imagine why...containment?
I have so much fun playing with my brothers toys and thankfully he doesn't care at all. Me on the other hand...I get a little upset sometimes when he wants to play with my toys. Mom explains to me that they are not mine but "ours" which I really don't think she understands...they really are mine right?
This is my favorite part of the day when my daddy gets home. He bundled me up right away before it got too dark out and we had the chance to go run and play in the snow!
Mom loves when the hills and grasses are covered in snow. She reminds me how blessed we are to live in such a beautiful place.
I was trying to get out one last time before having to go to bed. I even dressed myself in boots and knee pads just in case I was to slip on the snow. Who needs a hat and jacket when it's 20 degrees out?

The Boys at Rocky Mountain National Park

We took another trip to Estes Park and had a great time hiking, playing in the water, watching Canyon ride his bike and hanging out with great friends!

Can you find the ELK in every picture?

We saw so many elk today as we ventured around Rocky Mountain National Park. If you look close you will see an elk in every picture above!
