Sunriver Museum and Tumalo Falls

Today I found out that Sawyer and me can jump as far as a flea! I also discovered that my arm span is as wide as a hawk!
If you look close enough, you can see the cells of a butterfly wing!
Sawyer feels no need to look at the object magnified when he can just look at the object itself. Guess that makes sense?
Guess what I am?
Red on yellow kill a fellow, red on black friend of Jack.
Turns out this one is a friend of Jacks.
After checking out the museum, we went outside to see if we could find where deer sleep in this tall grass.
I think I spotted a patch!
This place is awesome!
Silly boys!
What you lookin at?
Before leaving, I made another attempt to beat my flea record. I can now officially jump as far as a grey squirrel!
We ventured into the town of Sunriver to grab a bite to eat!
This is a donut...yes my first experience with one and I am happy to report it's pretty darn tasty!
Since adventure is my middle name, I convinced mom and dad that our day would not be complete without seeing a waterfall.
Tumalo Falls!
The best part of this adventure was not actually the waterfall but the goodies we found while we were there! Sawyer found mom a super sweeper...it's even organic!
I also found more mini falls for dad to check out!
This was my greatest find!
This one wasn't so bad either. Dad taught us all about wild fires and showed us the aftermath of them.
Sawyer enjoying my greatest find!
Mom found this HUGE rock chair for us!
We took a break on it for a short minute.
And then headed back home with all of our craft supplies.
I plan to make a robot dinosaur out of these treasures!
When we arrived home, we discovered our back yard was full of leaves and jumped right in!
Sawyer was not so enthused. It was a great day for us and we always are sad when daddy's days off are over. The good news is there will be another Monday and Tuesday just around the corner. Looking forward to our next adventure!
