Grandparents in Portland!

We drove to Portland to spend a few days with Grandpa and Grandma Dosmann!  We took Grandpa to the zoo while grandma had to do some work:(

Breakfast at a hotel is always a novelty for my boys.
 Monkeys!

 Hide and seek
Grandma always comes up with the greatest games and is the best hider of all!
 The park was absolutely beautiful!
 Sawyer showing off!
The buzz finger!!  Grandpa is famous for this!
 Racing!
 OMSI

 Cute
 Silly
 Fun!
We even had a little birthday party for Canyon and had some super yummy ice cream cake!
Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for such an amazing trip!

Birdie and Shevlin Bike Ride

We found this little guy feet up in our cold lawn one early morning so we rescued him and warmed him up.  Canyon was in heaven and fell in love with this little birdie immediately.
We left him outside in a box and when we came home he was gone so he thankfully was able to regain his strength and fly back to his home.  Canyon was devastated and cried such sad tears for awhile after trying to explain to him that the bird needed his mom and dad.
Shevlin is always a great place to explore and we found a great little spot to play in for hrs.

We built little obstacles for the boys to ride over.

Another perfect day!

Todd Lake aka Mesquito Lake

After all of our moving escapades we took advantage of daddy's day off and headed up to Todd Lake this week.  It is always beautiful this time of year with the snow finally melting, the wildflowers blooming, tadpoles growing, and the mesquitos dominating.
We had our nets ready in effort to add another pet to the Cannell household.
It didn't take long before we came across some snow.
You can see in the distance some beautiful flowers covering the landscape.
The boys constantly give me flowers anytime they spot them.  They will make some special lady happy someday for sure!

We found a patch of wetland infested with mesquitos to enjoy a nice picnic lunch.
As beautiful as this place was, we were quick to get out as the mesquitos were very fond of our "natural" deet free mesquito spray.

Richardson Ranch Thurnderegg Hunt

Had an amazing day today at Richardson's Ranch.  We went with some special friends in search of our very own thundereggs.  This is a must do and worth the mileage to get there.
The boys each got their very own pick to find their thundereggs.  It was great watching the kids explore.
We had to find rocks that were bigger than golf balls in order to be able to get them cut open.
Thankful for such beautiful friends Madison and Ryan.
 Searching for more
 Hard at work.
 Hmmmm?
 Love these little men.
The four rocks we decided to get cut open.  It was amazing to see what an ordinary rock can have inside of it.  Incredible.  Still blows me away how beautiful these rocks are and such special treasures for the boys.

Beautiful Boys

We took another trip to Sahalie and Koosah Falls and had such a wonderful time.
We made sure to bring our butterfly nets on this adventure!

This is such a beautiful place!
Canyon took a big spill so daddy had to carry him for a little while:)
This is Sawyer's idea of posing for the camera.
Rainbows can always be found at this special place.
The walking stick that instantly cured Canyon's owie.

After visiting the falls we took a little trip to Belknap Springs and had a little picnic lunch.

This place was also beautiful.  We walked around and found the "Secret Garden" and let the boys play in the water.

Perfect day, perfect weather, and perfect memories!
