Todd Lake aka Mesquito Lake

After all of our moving escapades we took advantage of daddy's day off and headed up to Todd Lake this week.  It is always beautiful this time of year with the snow finally melting, the wildflowers blooming, tadpoles growing, and the mesquitos dominating.
We had our nets ready in effort to add another pet to the Cannell household.
It didn't take long before we came across some snow.
You can see in the distance some beautiful flowers covering the landscape.
The boys constantly give me flowers anytime they spot them.  They will make some special lady happy someday for sure!

We found a patch of wetland infested with mesquitos to enjoy a nice picnic lunch.
As beautiful as this place was, we were quick to get out as the mesquitos were very fond of our "natural" deet free mesquito spray.
