Beautiful Boys

We took another trip to Sahalie and Koosah Falls and had such a wonderful time.
We made sure to bring our butterfly nets on this adventure!

This is such a beautiful place!
Canyon took a big spill so daddy had to carry him for a little while:)
This is Sawyer's idea of posing for the camera.
Rainbows can always be found at this special place.
The walking stick that instantly cured Canyon's owie.

After visiting the falls we took a little trip to Belknap Springs and had a little picnic lunch.

This place was also beautiful.  We walked around and found the "Secret Garden" and let the boys play in the water.

Perfect day, perfect weather, and perfect memories!

Benham Falls

A beautiful day in Central Oregon took us out on an adventure to find animals, sticks, trees, and anything else we could find.
The boys shared their own little camera and had a blast taking their own special pictures.
 Always love this view.
Glimpse of Mt Bachelor in the background.
Canyon remembered this very exact spot from last year when we took a picture of him hanging from this little branch.  It always amazes us what he remembers!
Canyon was brave enough to take a picture near the falls.
 Sawyer's beautiful locks;)
It's the little things like this that make me feel incredibly blessed.  Love holding his little hand.
Canyon found this little piece of curled leaf in the shape of a tube and made a musical instrument out of it.
Not a fan of his shades.
Canyon had a blast taking pictures today.
 Boys in action.
On our adventure we saw 2 of these snakes, 2 lizards including a blue tailed slink, and some beautiful birds.  Another amazing day with my beautiful family!

SAWYER'S SPECIAL DAY!

The night before Sawyer's birthday we filled his room with balloons. When he woke up he was excited to see some presents to open! Notice the big boy underwear. He also decided he was too big for diapers and kept them dry all night.
For breakfast we went to his favorite bakery and he picked out a cupcake and since it WAS his birthday, we were all for it!
After breakfast we went and visited some baby chickens. We have been thinking about adding chickens to our family unit but in the end we decided on a black holland lop bunny that we will be getting in 4 weeks.
After ducks Sawyer wanted to ride his bike and fish so we combined the two and rode the bike to the fishing pond.
Excited about his special day!
Fishing with daddy and brother.
Proud of his big catch!
He then wanted sticky rice so we went to his favorite Thai Thai restaurant.
Afternoon nap to rest up for the rest of the evening.
Before going out to eat, we went and checked out rabbit hutches and the guy who builds them had 6 kids and chickens to play with! Sawyer was super excited about his buzz lightyear cake!
To infinity and BEYOND!!
This cake was 70 percent frosting and 30 percent chocolate cake. He was so good about being patient and waiting until after dinner to eat it!
It was a wonderful day!

Easter Fun

The boys had a fun weekend. Saturday they had a morning with our Church celebrating the true meaning of Easter. Sunday morning they woke up to some special goodies from mom and dad and a treasure hunt from Grandma and Grandpa Dosmann. We hid a few eggs for the boys to find.
And then the real fun began with an amazing treasure hunt from Gma and Gpa.
After finding all the gifts, it was time to open them.
Sawyer was pretty excited to open his candy!
In no time at all, the boys found their way outside to blow their bubbles.
After our morning fun, we headed over to the Chases to enjoy brunch together. Janet made these amazing eggs using silk ties.
The boy table enjoying their meal.
After brunch we went to the park to have an Easter Egg Hunt.
I think the adults had just as much fun hiding the eggs as the kids did finding them.
Brought back some fun memories of when we were kids:)
The older kids had fun looking deep into the brush to find their well hidden eggs.
Showing off their loot!
We ended our fun day at the pirate park taking in the beautiful weather and running off some sugar!
Happy Easter!
