Fishing with Daddy

Had a great day today with daddy fishing at Shevlin Park Pond. The Wildlife Division fills this pond every 2 weeks in the summer with 200-400 fish for the sole purpose of letting kids fish!

I showed up a little later to find this little monkey covered from head to toe in dirt!

This small little pond is surrounded by trees and is so beautiful you feel like you are in a wonderland!

Bikes and Bubbles

Team Cannell embarked on a mini adventure to get some energy out and blow some bubbles! Sawyer still refuses to get on the strider which is so not like him but we are patiently waiting for him to join his brother. For now, he walks everywhere and amazes us with how far he can walk without ever getting tired!

This beautiful place is walking distance from our home. We are incredibly blessed to live in such an amazing place. There are endless trails everywhere you look surrounded by breath taking beauty.

I found these bubbles at Target for 99cents and they are amazing! They blow a ton at a time and great for little ones!

Sawyer is constantly entertaining us and making us laugh with his amazing vocabulary and silly movements! Have a great week!

HAPPY EASTER!

We had such a special day today! We woke up and went on an Easter egg hunt.

And quickly cuddled with our precious ducks.

Canyon is so amazing with these little ducks and was quick to fall in love with them. One of the ducks who was not doing so great was easy to hold and love on and this became Canyons favorite duck who he named "silly duck."

Unfortunately this duck did not make it through Easter and Canyon was happy to know that this duck had to go back to his mommy.

Sawyer was pretty excited to see the ducks too but has a hard time with "soft" so he didn't get to hold them much:)

Both ducks enjoyed the warmth of Canyon's neck and did not want to move.

We took a walk after nap time and enjoyed the beautiful day!

There is nothing I like more than watching my boys in their element.

They each find something great to throw in the water.

We spent some time collecting fun sticks and rocks to make our silly guy.

This stick made it to the car for the ride home!

Sawyer continues to crack us up with his adventurous and quirky personality.

This was the biggest prize and the boys were thrilled to see the splash this stick would make!

Portland Aventure Part 1

We spent 3 days in Portland with the Specks and had so much fun! Our first adventure was the Oregon Museum of Science. This is probably the coolest place I have seen and we really only saw a small part of it. The sand area was a favorite for sure.

We will definitely make a trip back with daddy to see more of this place. After playing we went back to the hotel to rest and then came back for the IMAX movie called Born Wild. The boys did great and loved watching the documentary about Chimps and Elephants.

Our next adventure was the Portland Zoo!

Bears wresting is always cool to watch! We also saw a bear climb super high up a tree.
