New Location!

I new this day would come when my blog would reach the limit of having too many photos so instead of deleting or paying for more storage, I decided to just come up with a new location and put this one in the archives for now.

Fall is LOVELY!!

 There is not a better time of year than fall.  Especially in Bend, OR! 

 

 Playing at the park. 

 The boys starting swim lessons and it has been so fun to see them learn together.  Mermaid Jody definitely has magic tricks to get these two boys in the water.

 Never a dull moment with this little man.

 Every year we go to Drake Park and find leaves to jump in.  Another gorgeous place!

 I often remind myself that we LIVE HERE!

 Dad equals fun...ALWAYS!

Fall Weekend

 Monday we visited one of our favorites... the Metolius Fish Hatchery. 

 Before we had kids my husband always talked about how fun it would be to take the kids here.  Now its basically a 2 time a year event.  I believe Greg loves it more than the kids but they never seem to mind:)

They love feeding the fish and in this pond you see some massive ones!

 It's always beautiful here.

 After feeding the fish we headed over to Camp Sherman to see if we could find some Kokanee Salmon spawning but didn't see any that had changed color yet.

 Tuesday we headed out to my favorite pumpkin patch near Smith Rock. 

 Stopped to pet some cute animals on the way.

 And then the search began to find the perfect pumpkin.

 Canyon tried out many.

 This one was a little too big.

 This one was just right and a keeper.

 Sawyer also found his perfect pumpkin. 

 For me this place is magical.  Such great memories and with Smith Rock in the background, it really doesn't get any prettier than this.

Another great year and more memories created. 



Quick Trip to the Coast

 Sunday morning I had this quick thought of spending our weekend at the coast!  For us, that is Monday and Tuesday.  After a quick text to our friend Peggy, we were booked!  Picked Greg up after work and we were OFF!

Monday morning we woke up to a gorgeous blue sky and a full moon.

 We spent our entire morning and early afternoon playing on the beach and took a long walk to the sand dune.

 We also took time to play with our frisbee!

 Beautiful doesn't even describe this day!

 Before heading out we went and explored the rock area below the dune.

 Canyon and I climbed all the way to the top of the dune!

 I could have watched the boys play for hours in the ocean.  The entire time we were there they never stopped running!  JOY!

 It was great to see our dog Halee have fun too.  It's been awhile since she has been SO happy!!!

A quick trip but worth every minute!
